The job of a service page

Your service page must do four things fast: say what you do, prove you can do it, show how it works, and make it easy to start. Most pages fail because they talk about the company first and hide the next step. Use this template and you will get more leads with the same traffic.

Layout at a glance

  • Hero: One-line promise, one proof line, one button.
  • Outcomes: Three to six results stated in plain words.
  • Process: Four steps with short labels.
  • Packages or scope: Simple table or bullets (no wall of text).
  • Proof: Small case notes, data points, or a quote.
  • FAQ: Three to five real questions with direct answers.
  • Final CTA: Same action as the hero, repeated.

Hero that earns the scroll

Keep the first screen simple. One promise, one proof, one action.

  • Promise: “Monthly SEO and content that grow search traffic.”
  • Proof: “50k monthly impressions by month six on average.”
  • Action: “See pricing” or “Start your plan.”

Use a solid button. Full width on mobile. No second button in the hero. Add a single supporting visual that fits your brand.

Outcomes over features

Buyers care about results. List outcomes as short statements. Skip jargon.

  • Faster site and clearer pages
  • Steady search growth and more queries
  • More clicks on the main action
  • Cleaner reports you can act on

Each outcome can link down to a small proof or example later on the page.

Process that reduces risk

People fear waste and delays. A clear process lowers that fear. Use four steps with short lines under each.

  1. Plan: Goals, pages, and a simple content map.
  2. Build: Fix speed, structure, and core pages.
  3. Publish: Blogs and reels on a weekly rhythm.
  4. Improve: Titles, links, and small wins each week.

Keep step lines short. One sentence each. Add small icons if you like, but keep it light.

Scope and packages without clutter

If you sell tiers, show the key differences in a small grid. Use simple labels and limits.

  • Website: Included in all plans (new build month one).
  • Blog posts: 4 / 8 / 12 per month.
  • Social: 3 / 5 / 7 posts per week.
  • Reels: 0 / 2 / 3 per week.
  • Reporting: Monthly / Weekly.
  • Maintenance tasks: 1 active / 2 active / 2 active.

Put the full pricing table on your pricing page. On the service page, keep it short and link to pricing.

Proof that fits small pages

You do not need long case studies on this page. Use small “proof tiles.” Each tile should have a label, a number, and a timeframe.

  • Search growth: “15k impressions in 28 days on a new site.”
  • Ramp: “50k monthly impressions by month five.”
  • Conversions: “10 bookings from 60 clicks in week one.”

Add one short quote if you have it. Use a first name and role when allowed.

Copy blocks you can paste

Hero subhead

“We build the site, write the posts, and run your social—so you do not have to.”

CTA button text

“See pricing” or “Start your plan”

Write for AEO

People ask direct questions in search. Reflect that on the page.

  • Use literal headings: “What you get,” “How it works,” “FAQ.”
  • Place a two-line answer under each main heading.
  • Add a tiny FAQ with real questions.

Place your internal links

Help people move without thinking.

  • Up: From blog posts, link up to this service page.
  • Across: Link to related services (e.g., Websites ↔ SEO & Content).
  • Down: Link to pricing as the next step.

Speed and clarity checks

Fast pages convert better. Keep this simple:

  • Compress the hero image and preload it.
  • Short paragraphs (2–4 lines).
  • One main font family, two weights.
  • No heavy sliders or auto-playing video in the hero.

Social proof with restraint

Logo rows can help, but keep them small. Two or three is enough near the fold. Do not push the button down the page.

FAQ you can adapt

What do I get each month?

A new site in month one, then ongoing content and social posts. We handle updates and reporting on a set schedule.

How long until I see results?

Most new domains reach 50k monthly impressions by month five or six with steady posts and clean internal links.

Do I need to approve every post?

We agree on a style, then we publish on schedule. You can review in batches when you like.

What about reels?

They are included in Growth and Pro tiers. We plan hooks, film light clips, and edit for each platform.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Move to a higher tier any time. We keep the same site and raise the content pace.

Microcopy that nudges action

Small lines near buttons can lift clicks.

  • “Takes 60 seconds. No hard sell.”
  • “See exact deliverables by tier.”
  • “Start with the plan that fits now.”

What to measure on this page

  • Hero CTR: Clicks on the main button divided by page views.
  • Scroll depth: How many reach the proof and FAQ.
  • Form starts and submits: Are fields and copy clear?

Fix the lowest number first. If the hero CTR is weak, change the promise line or the button text. If many people bounce, test a lighter image and a shorter subhead.

Mobile first

Most visitors will be on a phone. Make the hero fit one screen. Keep buttons full width with space around them. Avoid tiny tables; use stacked cards for scope and features.

Final pass before you publish

  • Read it out loud. Cut any line that sounds vague.
  • Swap long words for short ones.
  • Put the main button where a thumb can tap it on a small phone.
  • Compress images. Check load on a slow network profile.

Next step

Copy this template into your builder. Fill in the promise, outcomes, steps, and proof tiles. Link the hero and final button to your pricing page. Publish, watch the data for a week, then improve the weakest part. Small changes add up fast.
